OT-122-15: The applicant, Dania Live 1748, LLC., is requesting a Tree Removal and Mitigation Agreement for the Dania Pointe project.

 

Description of Action

 

REQUEST

To approve a tree removal and mitigation agreement.

 

The City Code allows large scale land development projects with certain site conditions to commence land clearing and construction preparation activities prior to final site plan approval. One such related activity is the removal of trees with an agreement approved by the City Commission.

 

The applicant wishes to remove trees on the property prior to site plan approval. As such, the property owner is requesting to enter into a Tree Removal and Mitigation Agreement with the City to allow tree removal before site plan approval. The proposed agreement meets all of the procedural and technical requirements of the City’s Codes.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Approve the resolution and agreement.
